The pub is called the MEREPARK in BLACKPOOL and is very good for food , a night out. We have quizzes and open the box nights and also a lot for charity. The landlady is not bad as well.

Seen barman in the Winsor Pub/B+B, McCurtain St, Cork City drinking beer, while on the job and announcing, regularly, ‘I love to fight’. A nice Irish pub….not.

how can everyone in eire talk so highly of pubs when so many of them ever remember what happened the night before !! having said that we seldom go anywhere other than germaines . thats because its “cheap” , but to be honest i am begining to wonder if cheap is a good substitute for quality ??? i am sure someone will answer this question ….

there are some nice irish pubs in cologne here in germany as well! i just love this irish atmosphere there. but still – i have to get visit the real ireland once again. only there you can find the ideal pub!

i love your idea of Perfect Pub.we have a pub down our way with pool table,the juke box in one room.the bar for the craic and sport. the old style candle lit lounge with a big turf fire . CIARAN THE BARMAN IS USUALLY FLYING AROUND WITH WINGS or cocktail sausages.but most of all its the customers that make this place so special.within 20 minutes youd swear ya been living there 20 years.someone will always strike up a conversation or break into song. its one of the old school pubs where strangers are only friends that havent met before.
